THE BIG NEWS

They're here! Get Your Book on May 11.

The first physical copies of Painting Celia have arrived. Yes, I finally finished editing!

You can pre-order a Kindle edition for 99¢ on Amazon, or pre-order a physical book for $5.99 from my publisher's site. Both prices are as low as I'm allowed to set them, believe me. I'm far more interested in getting you a copy than in making a profit.

In fact, if you'd like a free book in exchange for an honest review, I am happy to send you one. Just let me know.

And, of course, you can get a signed copy at my book launch on May 11. I'd love to see you there!

The Lion, the Rose, and the Deadline

"I am not a believer in Tarot or I Ching or reading chicken guts. I do, however, believe that people can find meaning in them, like when you flip a coin and secretly hope it lands on heads. People love to use exterior tools to help them interpret what they really want.

My friend read the Tarot for me.

DORY'S CORNER

Dory is glad spring is back, sitting in the sun whenever he finds some.

He's got a new trick: wedging himself behind me in my computer chair while I work. He's always liked being squished as he sleeps! And if I get up for anything, he can immediately follow, in case food is in the offing.

If I sit too long, he climbs up on my shoulders and tries to knock my glasses off. It's adorable and annoying.

I hope you all have writing companions just as cute.
