Work Trip to the Bahamas

Right in the middle of launching my book, I had to attend a work conference in Miami and the Bahamas. Sounds rough, right? It was! Thank goodness for day jobs, though.

Dory was not happy that I was gone for a week. He's keeping an eye on me at all times.

He may look like a typical cat here, finding a sunny spot in my office, but he's threatening to chomp a succulent if I don't pay him some attention.

I usually explain, "Dory, I can't reward that behavior." Me noticing him is the reward, though, so he maintains the upper hand.
